RFAA Press Release
January- 29-2008
Senator Russell Trood under John Howard never in all of these years said one word about Radio for all Australians but
now he is in the opposition he has a say = you can read it below.
Love to hear what he would say to our other writers. 57% said yes to this,
A few years ago a 57% survey was given to Paul Neville MP & Warren Truss MP at a Nation Party meting in Childers
in Queensland. On this day we got a standing ovation from all.
Mr. Peter Andrew MP = He will sadly be missed by all = This man table many sign petition from all over Australia, for
our cause.

Dear Mr Hall
Thank you for your email dated the 9th of January 2008. As it currently stands, there are over 1,200 commercial and non-commercial radio stations transmitting across Australia in the FM band alone. The Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC), which provides complete national coverage and short-range international services, provides a range of programming services including a dedicated station to news and current affairs called NewsRadio.
Given the breadth and extent of current radio programming services on offer, there is limited need for a further national radio station for the visually impaired.
Thank you for writing to the Senator on this matter.
Yours sincerely

Hi,
I live in Ballarat and can't listen to the RPH stations in Victoria. I have chronic fatigue syndrome and would love to be able to get access to a station. Could you put me on your mailing list? Who is the new communications minister?
yours
Emma

Dear Mr Hall
Thank you for your email regarding the rights of Australian's with blindness and other disabilities.
Please be assured that I will encourage the Rudd Government not to shirk their responsibilities to disabled Australians. The idea of a national braodcast for R.P.H is one that warrants further consideration.
Once again thank you for bringing this issue to my attention and if I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely
CORY BERNARDI
Liberal Senator for
South Australia
Shadow
Parliamentary Secretary for Families and Community Services
We have put these up as we believe we need a survey done all over Australia by our new Government.
